With four dude ranches in Grand County, there is plenty of room in your
vacation for outdoor adventure. Horseback riding is one of many outdoor

At Drowsy Water Guest Ranch they have a very special relationship with
our 95 or more horses. They've bred, raised and trained them to provide
guests with the finest of outdoor riding opportunities. Their Horse
Program is outstanding and geared to every riding ability and age group
to make the most out of your vacation. Horses are selected to match
your own riding skills. Daily instruction, both in the arena and on the
trail help to improve everyone's proficiency. Advanced riders have many
adventure opportunities to explore and blaze trails while handling
their horses from leisurely walks to smooth lopes and gallops.
At Bar Lazy J, designated Gold Medal Fishing offers some of the best
Rainbow and German Brown trout fishing in the state. Not only is it a
challenge for the “old time” fisherman, it is great fun for the
beginner or in-between to be outdoors enjoying their vacation. We have
a Free Fishing Clinic at the beginning of the week for anyone
interested in learning more about adventure fishing.
Winter at Latigo Dude Ranch is just as fun-filled as Summer and Fall.
We have all sorts of outdoor adventure activities, such as
cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding/ tubing.
