House Rates
The King House is a beautiful, secluded lodge perfect for
families or groups. It has 8 bedrooms on three floors, with
one large bathroom located on each floor and can hold around
21 people. This house has a beautiful stone fireplace joined
by a spacious living area along with a full size kitchen and
laundry facilities.

Ranch Activities
- Horseback
riding - horses for all levels of experience; many different
rides including fishing and all day rides. Work on horsemanship
skills, team penning and roping cattle in our large
arena.
- Trout
fishing and paddle boating on the ranch's private stocked
lakes and nearby streams.
- Mountain
Hiking; both guided and unguided, plus involvement in
our Naturalist program that takes you through the Arapaho
National Forest.
- Entertainment
for the Kids! Our Fox's Den childrens program offers
structured activities including horseback riding for
ages 4-12; Available June 11 through August 27.
- Recreation
Center with antique bowling alley, billiards and ping-pong
tables, board games, and video movies to watch.
- Indoor
swimming pool & hot tubs.
- Skeet
and Trap range at the top of our skeet hill (Great View!).
- Lighted
tennis courts and basketball courts.
- Weekly
BBQ Dinners with horse-drawn hay wagon rides.

Mountain Guest Ranch offers adventures and relaxing fun for
children and adults of all ages.
Outstanding
Children's Program Details
Activities for the Fox's Den include kids 6 & older
going out on horseback riding twice a day in the mountains surrounding
the ranch singing songs, playing games, and building stick teepees.
While ranch policy doesn't permit 3 to 5-year olds to ride by
themselves on the trail, they will get the chance to be led
around the corral on horseback by a wrangler. Younger kids are
occupied with arts and crafts, games, swimming, playdough and
coloring activities and many more events organized by the kids'
counselors. Throughout the week there are special opportunities
that all the kids enjoy such as "Kids-Only Cookout," a Lunch
Ride, Grooming and Saddling their own horses, Tye-Dye, making
Homemade Ice Cream, Barnyard Olympics, a Nature Hike, and a
Ranch Treasure Hunt. It makes you want to be a kid again!

All rates are subject to applicable taxes. Additional charges
could include our single occupancy rate (additional $50/night),
fireplace rooms (additional $25/night), alcoholic beverages
purchased from our Trails End Bar, and any off-site activities.
Reservations
We request weekly stays during our prime summer season of
July and August, checking in Sunday afternoon after 3:00pm
and checking out the following Sunday morning after breakfast
or before 10:00am. We will accept reservations of shorter
length based on availability. A deposit of 40% of the base
rate will hold your reservation.
Deposit
and Cancellation Policies, Arrival and Departure Times
Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled
prior to forty-five (45) days of your arrival. For corporate
groups, the policy is sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
If it is necessary to cancel within forty-five (45) days of
your arrival (60 days corporate groups), your deposit is non-refundable,
but we will be happy to apply the deposit towards a new booking
within one year. We highly recommend trip insurance to protect
your vacation investment.
Please Note: Schedule of indoor and outdoor activities may
be subject to change or cancellation due to weather or unexpected
technical challenges. In such an event, King Mountain Ranch
will endeavor to provide adequate substitute activities as
available.
Arrival and Departure Times
Check in time is after 3:00 PM on the day or your arrival.
Check out is after breakfast, or by 10:00 AM on the day of
your departure.
Additional
Information
We occasionally have special rates when guests cancel and
rooms become available on short notice. Please Call for availability!

Tariff includes all accommodations, meals, and activities
except trap and skeet shooting. Bar and gift shop charges
are also extra, and there is a 5.7% tax and a 15% service
charge. Gratuities are at the discretion
of the guest.
